It was apparently haunted by a
resident manifestation.
Some suggest
it was a combined
cluster of malevolent entities,
others believe it to be a demon,
while others still, attribute it
to extra-dimensional beings.

terrified those who
have stayed there,
but some had
even succumbed
to insanity and even death.

I've heard this story before and found it so creepy but its great to hear it narrated by you! The books at the end gave me a long forgotten childhood memory 😂 my parents had quite a few of these I remember the one with half a face half skull, there also one with a big spider on a face that I hated as a kid! They dont really look too scary now but as a child they were 😂

My ex hubbie worked opposite 50 Berkley Square (pronounced Barkley) and it's always fascinated me. Many of the stories were made up and circulated by a gang of 19th counterfeiters to scare people away and stop the curious discovering their crimes.

I love hearing about all these strange, dark, spooky, mysterious haunting ghost stories. Even better when narrated to perfection by one of the best story tellers out there. The former Queen of England, Elizabeth II, was born in Berkeley Square in the opposite corner of the square to no. 50 – at Berkeley House.

I remember my aunt's house it was not very unusual just a small twin. When I visited her I could hear a woman call my name but no one was there. You couldn't sleep in the second bedroom because you could see an old man coming out of the closet!

Again you didn't disappoint Oddie. And those pics you found of all the paranormal creatures were not typical which made them even more unnerving. I've always thought London/British Isle has more of this type of thing then any other place.
