Hi I'm Japanese
I just wanted say you are so beautiful geisha💖
Truly beautiful
You should try Oiran next
Other races are not offended when you show appreciation for their culture. To be honest, the ones I see mostly getting offended when others borrow from their culture are black Americans. I'm sure this comment will offend some, but it's the truth. So be it. You look beautiful as a geisha, btw.
Geisha make up is very thick and powdery I couldn't tell you were black with it on but your hands is a dead giveaway you were black
You look gorgeous. Seriously. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
"Cultural appropriation" right?
Proof race is just a choice
No I would not consider it. Wearing kimonos yes.
Can these Americans decide already if its "culture appropriation" or not? Bcoz seems to me there are double standards going on.
Reverse blackface
It's weird…. With the make up you cannot tell what ethnicity you are. I see Asian and white people with wide noses too…. So actually it makes you raceless. It is not offensive
You look gorgeous.
The only people offended by this kind of thing are found in America. In my experience people from other parts of the world don’t feel anything wrong about it.
You look amazing as a geisha! ❤
This looks so fun i love japanese culture and you are looking beautiful
So this isn’t considered “white facing”?
Does anyone know where exactly this place is ? I am kyoto and would love to try it out ❤
You looks beautiful ❤
I think these types of opportunities for people to share their culture and for others to experience different cultures is how we bring people together and break down the racism.
I think we get too worried about "cultural appropriation" but I don't think these types of things qualify when they're being done respectfully.
Yh of course now people will say oh no it's not racist of course it's not racist but it a white or asian person are trying black people's hair style or makeup or something it's racist y'all double sided & I'm not hating her I'm trying make y'all understand what kinda society we live in 🙄😒
Did u notice how white her teeth were before and how they ‚turned’ yellow after she painted her face white? Now I understand:)))
I wanted to do this sooooo bad!!!! But im a size L-XL in US sizes…..so I thought what if I bought the package, showed up, and there were no kimonos in my size??? (I couldn't find their sizing info), so I just didn't do it. But it is definitely on my bucket list!!!
In my opinion i don't think the geisha looks good on you. And no, im not asian but i am african like you. You are better naturally
She's enjoying it))
It's only offensive if it's the other way around.
You look just GORGEOUS and I’d LOVE to have a geisha photoshoot in Kyoto,Too! 💖🫶🏻🥰🌸🦋👘👡👡✨
this whole "oh, people steal my culture" is an American stupidity, no one cares about it in Asia
💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💯
I would love to do this 🥺❤️
Chocolate geisha!
ken shimura
When Asian girl had curly Afro in TikTok all black women burned and sent death threats about cultural appropriation and called “Chinkkky Asian sluuut want to be black, lmao, look, have our hairs and trying to be cool” but when you trying geisha make up everything is ok…😏
Oo! I love it! Looks like fun !!! ❤
I need travel friends like you, this is so something I would do. I'm a black woman and I've studied Japanese since I was in high school and I love this Idea.
You look beautiful! I loved it
That's cool. It looked really good on you.
